If the Bully had had a physical body, he would also have had a cigarette, and would have taken a long drag from it right about now — a long, slow, crackling burning pull on the poison smoke. The Bully would have blown the cloud in the girl’s face, cackling. Its voice would be rich and thick, and its teeth would be fat and brown.
